Flurbiprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts as a non-selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). By inhibiting COX enzymes, flurbiprofen blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid into pro-inflammatory prostaglandins and thromboxanes within the arachidonic acid cascade. Downstream, this suppression reduces local prostaglandin synthesis, leading to attenuated inflammatory responses and decreased pain signaling in cellular and animal models. [1]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
