Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone) is an essential electron carrier in the mitochondrial electron transport chain and a potent lipophilic antioxidant. It transfers electrons from complex I and complex II to complex III, facilitating aerobic cellular respiration and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) generation. Additionally, coenzyme Q10 scavenges reactive oxygen species (ROS) and inhibits lipid peroxidation in intracellular membranes, maintaining cellular redox homeostasis and organelle integrity. [1][2]

- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
