Lexibulin (CYT997) is a potent microtubule polymerization inhibitor that suppresses tubulin polymerization with an IC50 of ~3 μmol/L and exhibits antiproliferative activity across various cancer cell lines with IC50 values ranging from 1 tool/L. Treatment with Lexibulin induces cell cycle arrest at the G2-M phase, triggers caspase-3 activation and PARP cleavage, and disrupts endothelial cell monolayers to demonstrate significant vascular disrupting effects. - Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
Pre-aliquoted for Longevity: Solid-state aliquots offer significantly longer shelf life compared to stock solutions, ensuring maximum stability for every use.
