2',3'-cGAMP Sodium Salt is an endogenous cyclic dinucleotide second messenger and potent agonist of the STING (stimulator of interferon genes) receptor. Upon binding to STING, 2',3'-cGAMP induces conformational changes that activate downstream TBK1 and IRF3 signaling pathways. This cascades into the robust induction of type I interferons, such as IFN-β, and pro-inflammatory cytokines, enhancing innate immune responses against cytosolic DNA and pathogens. [1][2]

Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
- Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
- Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
- For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
- Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
