Ordering Information

Biological Activity

Dulaglutide peptide is a synthetic glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist that selectively binds to and activates the GLP-1 receptor. Activation of this receptor stimulates intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) accumulation and downstream signaling through the protein kinase A (PKA) pathway. This activity promotes glucose-dependent insulin secretion, suppresses glucagon release, enhances beta-cell survival, and regulates glycemic control in cellular and physiological models. [1]

FAQ
Q: Why does a DMSO stock precipitate in media/saline?
A: It is caused by unheated aqueous media (supersaturation), local solvent shock, or incorrect mixing sequence.
How to fix it?
  • Preheat media/saline to 37°C.
  • Mix rapidly (pipette/vortex) upon addition.
  • For complex mixes, always add the aqueous phase last.
  • Re-dissolve minor precipitates with a 37°C water bath and sonication (≤30 min).
