Description Deracoxib (SC-046) is a COX-2 inhibitor with >48-fold selectivity over COX-1. It also exhibits inhibitory activity against phosphodiesterase (Ki = 3.6 μM against human PDE4D3).

    MC4R-GLO cells were plated in 12 well culture dishes in DMEM/F12 supplemented with 5% fetal bovine serum. Cells were incubated in serum-free medium over night before the experiment. Cells were then treated with the indicated concentration of α-MSH or vehicle for 5 min at 37°C in the presence or absence of 10 µM deracoxib or imperatorin. Dishes were then placed on ice and cells were scraped in 1x LDS-PAGE sample buffer with 100 mM DTT. Proteins were resolved by SDS-PAGE.
