SPI-112 is a not cell permeable inhibitor of Src homology region 2 domain-containing phosphatase 2 (SHP-2, PTPN11) with IC50 of 1.0 μM, suggesting that SPI-112 binds to the catalytic pocket.^[1]

Shp2 was immunoprecipitated from cell lysate supernatants and Shp2 PTP activity was measured.
