Biological Activity

Description ODM-207 is a potent and selective BET inhibitor that is structurally unrelated to the benzodiazepine. ODM-207 also shows potent antiproliferative effects in patient-derived cancer cells and in xenograft models.
Targets
BET [1]
In vitro

ODM-207 is a potent DNA damage responses (DDR) targeted drugs with an IC50 of 2.12 μM. RNAi inhibition of RAD52-dependent HR potentiates the efficacy of a novel BETi ODM-207 in cutaneous apocrine sweat gland carcinoma patient derived tumor cells .[2]

Protocol (from reference)

Cell Assay:

[2]

  • Cell lines

Cutaneous apocrine sweat gland carcinoma patient derived tumor cells

  • Concentrations

    500 nM

  • Incubation Time

    48 h

  • Method

Cells are exposed to 500 nM ODM-207 for 48 hours. Analysis of RNAi effects on cell viability are quantified on basis of cell counts, while the analysis of RNAi induced accumulation of DNA damage is performed with automated quantification of antibody detected nuclear γH2AX foci per cell.
