Solubility (25°C)* In vitro DMSO 100 mg/mL (121.06 mM)
Ethanol 100 mg/mL (121.06 mM)
In vivo (Add solvents to the product individually and in order)
Clear solution
5%DMSO 40%PEG300 5%Tween80 50%ddH2O
5.0mg/ml Taking the 1 mL working solution as an example, add 50 μL of 100 mg/ml clarified DMSO stock solution to 400 μL of PEG300, mix evenly to clarify it; add 50 μL of Tween80 to the above system, mix evenly to clarify; then continue to add 500 μL of ddH2O to adjust the volume to 1 mL. The mixed solution should be used immediately for optimal results.
Clear solution
5% DMSO 95% Corn oil
2.5mg/ml Taking the 1 mL working solution as an example, add 50 μL of 50 mg/ml clear DMSO stock solution to 950 μL of corn oil and mix evenly. The mixed solution should be used immediately for optimal results.
* <1 mg/ml means slightly soluble or insoluble.
* Please note that Selleck tests the solubility of all compounds in-house, and the actual solubility may differ slightly from published values. This is normal and is due to slight batch-to-batch variations.
* Room temperature shipping (Stability testing shows this product can be shipped without any cooling measures.)

Biological Activity

Description Eribulin Mesylate, an analogue of the marine natural product halichondrin B, is a nontaxane completely synthetic microtubule inhibitor.
Targets
microtubule [1]
In vitro

Eribulin Mesylate (1-100 nM; 72 h) inhibits cells proliferation of LM8 and Dunn cells. Eribulin Mesylate (10-50 nM; 12-72 h) increases early apoptosis significantly in LM8 cells. Eribulin Mesylate (10-50 nM; 12-72 h) induces G2/M arrest by 12 h treatment with at the dose of 50 nM, but not by long-term treatment (72 h) with 10 nM in LM8 cells. Eribulin Mesylate (1-10 nM; 16 h) induces morphological change and suppresses cell migration in a low concentration in LM8 cells.<a class="sref" href="#s_ref">[2]</a>

In vivo

Eribulin Mesylate reduces primary tumor growth and lung metastasis of osteosarcoma in mice.<a class="sref" href="#s_ref">[2]</a>

Protocol (from reference)

Cell Assay:

[2]

  • Cell lines

    LM8 cells, Dunn cells

  • Concentrations

    10 nM, 50 nM

  • Incubation Time

    72 h

  • Method

LM8 cells and  Dunn cells are incubated with 0 nM, 10 nM, or 50 nM eribulin Mesylate for 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, or 72 h. And then cell proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis are detected by flow cytometry analysis and immunofluorescence.

Animal Study:

[2]

  • Animal Models

    4-week-old C3H/HeN mice inoculated with LM8 cells

  • Dosages

    1 mg/kg

  • Administration

    I.v.
