| Description | Acivicin hydrochloride (AT-125 hydrochloride) is the hydrochloride salt of Acivicin, a natural antibiotic produced by Streptomyces sviceus. It is a potent inhibitor of γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), an enzyme that initiates glutathione catabolism to cysteine. Acivicin also exhibits anti-cancer and anti-parasitic properties. |
