Biological Activity

Description Urolithin A (3,8-Dihydroxy Urolithin, 2',7-Dihydroxy-3,4-benzocoumarin), a metabolite of ellagitannin, is a first-in-class natural compound that induces mitophagy both in vitro and in vivo following oral consumption.
In vitro

Urolithin A inhibits cell proliferation and reduces oxidative stress status in liver cancer.
