Description

Tetraethylammonium (TEA) chloride is a nonspecific potassium channel blocker with antitumor properties.

5 mmol/L Tetraethylammonium indeed modestly augments the [Ca²⁺]_i response to PK‐THPP and also alters the response to A1899 (in so far as peak [Ca²⁺]_i is increased but not mean [Ca²⁺]_i).^[2]

The pH of this solution was adjusted to 7.4 at 37°C using KOH.
