Biological Activity

Description

Sulfopin (PIN1-3) is a highly selective covalent inhibitor of Pin1 with a Ki of 17 nM in the FP assay. Sulfopin blocks Myc-driven tumor initiation and growth in vivo.

Targets
Pin1 [1]
(in the FP assay)
17 nM(Ki)
In vitro

Sulfopin is a highly selective covalent inhibitor of Pin1 (peptidyl-prolyl isomerase) due to target engagement and phenocopies Pin1 genetic knockout, with a Ki of 17 nM in Fluorescence polarization (FP) test.<a class="sref" href="#s_ref">[1]</a>

In vivo

Sulfopin induces downregulation of c-Myc target genes, and reduces tumor progression and confers survival benefit in vivo.<a class="sref" href="#s_ref">[1]</a>
