Description	Etomoxir ((R)-(+)-Etomoxir) is an irreversible, small-molecule inhibitor of carnitine palmitoyl-transferase 1a (CPT1a). It inhibits fatty acid oxidation (FAO) and may have potential in treating diabetes, inflammation, cancer and cardiac metabolic diseases.
