Homogeneous suspension
CMC-NA
≥5mg/ml Taking the 1 mL working solution as an example, add 5 mg of this product to 1 ml of CMC-Na solution, mix evenly to obtain a homogeneous suspension with a final concentration of 5 mg/ml.
* <1 mg/ml means slightly soluble or insoluble.
* Please note that Selleck tests the solubility of all compounds in-house, and the actual solubility may differ slightly from published values. This is normal and is due to slight batch-to-batch variations.
* Room temperature shipping (Stability testing shows this product can be shipped without any cooling measures.)

Biological Activity

Description Bucladesine sodium is a cell-permeable PKA activator by mimicing the action of endogenous cAMP. Dibutyryl-cAMP (Bucladesine) is also a phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitor.
Targets
PDE [5] PKA [1]
In vitro

Dibutyryl-cAMP inhibits neuronal glucose uptake via PKA activation. [1]

In cultured rat hepatocytes, Dibutyryl-cAMP inhibits inducible nitric oxide synthase expression and NF-kappaB-binding activity. [2]

Dibutyryl-cAMP also suppress TNFalpha-induced hepatocyte apoptosis by inhibiting FADD up-regulation. [3]

In vivo

In a mouse model, bucladesine (600 nM/mouse, i.p.) reverses zinc chloride- and lead acetate-induced avoidance memory retention impairments. [4]
