Biological Activity

Description

Conoidin A is a covalent inhibitor of peroxiredoxin II with an IC50 of 25.1 mM for recombinant T. gondii enzyme peroxiredoxin II (rTgPrxII).

Targets
rTgPrxII [1]
25.1 µM
In vitro

Conoidin A is a covalent inhibitor of Toxoplasma gondii enzyme peroxiredoxin II (rTgPrxII) to inhibit its enzymatic activity in vitro. The inhibition of hyperoxidation of human PrxII indicating Conoidin A is a promising inhibitor of this important class of antioxidant and redox signaling enzymes.[1]
