In vitro	(-)-Norepinephrine inhibits the production of TNF-α, IL-6, and CXCL2/MIP-2 and promotes the secretion of IL-10 from LPS-stimulated murine alveolar macrophages. (-)-Norepinephrine down-regulates NF-κB activation in stimulated alveolar macrophages. ^[2]

In Vivo
In vivo	Injection of (-)-Norepinephrine into senescence-accelerated prone 8 (SAMP8) mice reverses formaldehyde accumulation and (-)-Norepinephrine deficiency and restored the magnitude of long-term potentiation and memory. ^[3]
