Colchicine is a tubulin inhibitor and a microtubule disrupting agent, which inhibits the tubulin polymerization on the site of β-tubulin.[1]

Method

HeLa cells are cultured in 6-well plates and then treated with or without different concentrations of KXO1, vinblastine, or colchicine for 2 h before being treated with 100 μM EBI for another 2 h. Total protein is extracted with radioimmuno_x0002_precipitation assay buffer and subjected to Western blot analy_x0002_sis of β-tubulin. GAPDH is used as a loading control. The Western blotting procedure is performed.
